Since both Cut Copy and Death Cab for Cutie have shows in LA this week, it seemed quite appropriate to post this remix. The Australian electro-pop group takes on “Doors Unlocked And Open” and gives it a spin ripe for the dancefloor.

Death Cab for Cutie – Doors Unlocked And Open [Cut Copy Remix] by deathcabforcutie

The song is part of a “Keys and Codes Remix EP” – 7 reworked tracks from their latest album that will be released on November 22.

Cut Copy are playing the Palladium tonight and will bein our studios this Friday, October 14 (if you don’t see me dancing in the background, I will be SHOCKED).

Death Cab for Cutie, who could easily be considered one of the definitive indie rock bands of our time, have two local dates, this Friday in Pomona at the Fox Theater with Release the Sunbird and at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Saturday, October 15 with Explosions in the Sky.
