I’ve been honored to share the airwaves with DJ Garth Trinidad over the last two weeks as we drum up some dollars for KCRW during our Winter Pledge Drive. On Tuesday he was teasing me about needing to hear a song so badly that I purchased it from iTunes rather than grabbing it from the KCRW Music Library (by way of explanation: we don’t get paid much in public radio – access to music is pretty much our “bonus” for working long hours for little pay).

The song in question was the Beck remix of Feist’s “How Come You Never Go There”.

I can’t quite say what it is that has me so obsessed with this song. I just know I love it and have been listening to it on repeat.

I was also inspired to post because Feist just released a video for her song “The Bad in Each Other” as well as tour dates to support her album “Metals”. Check it all out below!
