Also I Like to Rock” concert series at the

Hammer Museum

THIS THURSDAY, July 22.

I can’t think of a better place to enjoy a sunset solo acoustic set from this spectacular singer than the Hammer Courtyard!

KCRW DJ Chuck P is also a fan and says “’like the track I’ve been playing – the Harry Houdini-inspired single “Harry and Bess” – the entire album is magical. Ferraby is a singular songwriter in the Los Angeles scene, crafting lively, happy pop songs of high quality.”

Ferraby Lionheart – Harry and Bess

Ferraby tells Spin they just shot a video for the track starring actor Rainn Wilson.

Fittingly, an art element has also been added to the final show. Local indie pop quartet Chasing Kingswill be accompanied by performance painterNorton Wisdom, who creates magnificent visual interpretations of live music using brushes, sticks, his fingers, and a squeegee on illuminated fiberglass. Wisdom has collaborated with Beck, Nels Cline, Angelique Kidjo, Daniel Lanois, and Dave Navarro, among many others. Voxhaul Broadcast headlines the evening.

The show starts at 7pm with a DJ set from Chuck P and early arrival is suggested as the free event reached capacity early last week. See you on Thursday!
