In this new climate of year-round music festivals, there’s always a new kid on the block trying to make a name for themselves.

Today we highlight Festival Epicentro, which goes down in Costa Rica April 22nd, 2018.

Epicentro is claiming a stake on some prime real estate in an overlooked region, as far as music festivals go. Mexico has Vive Latino, Colombia has Rock al Parque, and Lollapalooza dominates in South America with festivals in Argentina, Brazil, & Chile.

But the Central American market is… wide open. And with Costa Rica’s tropical paradise backdrop – what international act wouldn’t want to play there?!

All in all, it’s an impressive lineup of solid headliners, while at the same time giving the top bands in Costa Rica a space to share a bill with some of these performers from all over the Americas.

The lineup is also very aligned with our musical tastes here at Pan Caliente… we might actually have to go down there and check it out.

For more info visit: festivalepicentro.com and check out a track from Costa Rican garage rockers Las Robertas below.
