    Festival of Books Celebration

    To celebrate the 7th annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, host Sara Davidson discusses L.A.in literature with a number of respected local authors whose works are centered in Los Angeles.

    PLAN AHEAD FOR KCRW at the LOS ANGELES TIMES FESTIVAL OF BOOKS

    The seventh annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is a two-day celebration of the written word and one of the country's premier literary events. The event is free to the public and held on the UCLA campus Saturday, April 27, 2002 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) & Sunday, April 28, 2002 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

    The events will include special lectures by celebrated authors, book reviews, writing workshops, and storytelling at two stages in the children's area. A panel of respected judges from the literary world will also be on hand to award the annual Book Prizes for outstanding offerings from the past year.
