For the 5th year in a row, KCRW is partnering with the Natural History Museum for their late night series First Fridays. Party with the dinosaurs and dance to the beats of resident DJAnthony Valadez and more!

For the first installment – THIS Friday, January 10 — DJ Jeremy Sole will join Anthony, so you can get your groove on and enjoy the dioramas of the African Mammal Hall with TWO KCRW all-stars.

The theme for First Fridays in 2014 is LA Stories…Walk on the Wild Side, in celebration of NHM’s new permanent exhibit “Becoming Los Angeles”.

Fittingly, the all-ages series will also feature performances from local bands Conway and Youngblood Hawke, who KCRW DJ Jason Kramer profiled back in 2012.

The festivities begin at 5pm, with curatorial tours and a discussion.

Purchase advance tickets here. Also, there are always a limited number of tickets available at the door.
