First Fridays Starts January 6 – See New Lineup Additions

Natural History Museum’s all ages, after hours series First Fridays, presented by KCRW. The series kicks off on January 6 with headliner Mariachi El Bronx and we can now announce the lineup through March:

February will feature the entrancing, hypnotic and slightly gothic tunes of The Soft Moon alongside Light Asylum (February 3) while March will spotlight the unmistakable vocals of songstress Zola Jesus, who graced the Hollywood Bowl stage earlier this year (March 2).

Tickets for January are on sale now and tickets go on sale THIS Friday, December 23 for February.

Each evening also includes DJs sets from KCRW’s Anthony Valadez as well as lectures and more. Read all about it here and below.

**January 6, 2012 – “The Believing Brain: From Ghosts and Gods to Politics and Conspiracies—How we Construct Beliefs and Reinforce them as Truths ” with Dr. Michael Shermer

WHEN : Friday, January 6, 2012. Extended Museum hours until 10:00 PM.

WHERE: The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is located at 900 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, 90007.

ADMISSION: Concert Ticket +Museum Admission ($18) / Museum Admission ($12) BUY TICKETS

Guided tours and discussions are available on a first come, first served basis to all ticket-holders.

It is recommended that you purchase tickets in advance as capacity for the evening is limited and often sells out early. There will be a limited number of tickets sold on-site the evening of the event; however, once on-site tickets are sold out, admission to the Museum and/or Concert may not be available.
