Some quick hits on videos to watch and songs to listen to this week!

First off, this Washed Out video is like National Geographic come to life! It’s directed by UK artist Kate Moross, a frequent collaborator with Jessie Ware, and was shot at the London Zoo. It’s vivid and beautiful imagery set to a super chill soundtrack.

Fiona Apple finally released a video for “Hot Knife” and it’s pretty incredible. It was directed by her former beau Paul Thomas Anderson. It’s raw and grabs you instantly, just like the music.

Beck is back! I think this is one of his best songs in years. I can’t get it out of my head. There’s even an extended version.

One of my favorite local pop-rock bands Saint Motel have a new single. They used horns a bunch on their last album and they really make this song. It’s a propulsive jam that encompasses all of their best qualities as a band. Good job guys!
