KCRW DJ Garth Trinidad hosted LA-based DJ J-Logic in the studio to help pay tribute to one of hip hop’s greatest. Guru – of Gangstarr and Jazzmatazz fame – passed away April 19, 2010 from health complications. His contributions to music as a lyricist, jazz enthusiast, mentor, and positive influence will be greatly missed.
