Actor Mike O’Malley seems to approach everything he does with a lot of passion, and that includes his music collection. The actor, best known for his role as Burt Hummel on Glee, as well as the dearly departed comedy “Yes, Dear”, dives into his picks, with song from Buffalo Tom that captures the pain of a break up, an inspiring indie rock track from NY’s The National, and a classic track from The Who that reminds us of the importance of keeping it raw.

What I love about this Guest DJ set is that he also made me look at a song I’ve heard a hundred times before – U2’s “One” – and totally made me appreciate it in a new way. Then spotlights an indie artist I’ve never heard of named East River Pipe to demonstrate how difficult it is to be a creative individual.

Check out his full set here, hosted by our very own music director Jason Bentley.

p.s.: He’s also a writer on Showtime’s “Shameless”

2) Bloodbuzz Ohio (radio edit) – The National
