Hi this is Gemma Dempsey and this week the Global Gig Guide goes to Boston for the Celtic Music Festival; to the Ba-Ta-Clan in Paris; and to Elvis’ Graceland home in Tennessee.

Celtic Music Festival. Dance the winter blues away at ceildhs and concerts around the city, or check out the workshops for the bodran, guitar and fiddle – you never know, you might just discover the musician within you!

Ba-ta-clan in Paris is a music venue steeped in history.

Events include a dance party, Elvis Bingo and ‘Bears on Tour’ scavenger hunt. No Elvis celebration would be complete without music, and his back up group, the Imperials, will be one of several other acts paying homage to The King.
