Looking at the list of Golden Globe nominees, I was happy to see many Guest DJs on the list!

The King’s Speech, starring recent Guest DJ Colin Firth, led Golden Globe contenders with seven nominations. Lisa Cholodenko’s film “The Kids Are All Right,” which she directed and co-wrote, was nominated for numerous awards, including one for Best Screenplay.

“Inception,” a Best Motion Picture-Drama nominee, stars Joseph Gordon Levitt, a longtime KCRW fan and past DJ. “127 Hours” Director Danny Boyle dropped by the show last year, as did Jake Gyllenhaal, nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy Or Musical

The Big Bang Theory, my personal favorite, got a nod for Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical, and it’s star Jim Parsons got a Best Actor nod. We’re actually taping a set with Kunal Nayyar, who plays Raj, later this week!

Congrats to all!
