After a sold out show at the Hollywood Bowl, they rolled intoour basement studios just minutes before they were scheduled to go on air. I’m sure they had a late night, but once they started playing, you could see all the energy and enthusiasm we’ve come to expect from the 7-piece band.
I danced the entire time, except for during the sole ballad “Look at Where We Are”, where they worked in parts of Prince’s “If I Was Your Girlfriend”.
There are so many electronic bands that are merely pushing buttons and it’s so refreshing to see all the live instrumentation that goes into each of their songs. Check out the full set in the archives – including an incredible version of “I Feel Better” – right here.
