Yesterday I woke up with a song in head. I could not remember the name of it or the band who sang it – I just had a chorus of “ba ba ba ba’s” running through my head.

Most of the time when this happens, I simply google the lyrics and BAM there’s the song.

Not this one. Nothing google-able about it. I was crippled by the fact that I could not figure it out. Not because I’m such a music snob that I expect to know everything but because I HAD to hear it to get it out of my head. I was pretty sure the band started with a “C” – my only random clue. I went through my iTunes twice and still couldn’t figure it out.

Then, this morning, I decided to listen to Common’s “The Light” because, unlike some other people, I’m happy to hear he’s playing the White House.

And, because of that fateful move, I stumbled upon the song!!

And here it is, so I can get it stuck in your heads too.

C-Mon and Kypski’s “Bumpy Road”
