(Love From London is an ongoing series where correspondents Alex Kenning and Izzy Lawrence introduce us to bands generating excitement across the pond.)

It’s been over two years since Jai Paul first put out a demo version of the incredible “BTSTU.”

It was a bit of a slow burner, the way it crept into playlists, but it won him a whole host of praise from the likes of Zane Lowe, Gilles Peterson and Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1. And Jai Paul managed to accrue a multitude of fans.

And they’ve been very patient to wait for the next piece of work. When Jai Paul posted “Jasmine” online, it received over 350 000 hits almost immediately. Impressive for any artist.

While I’m quite an impatient person, this was worth the wait. I think trying to describe it may ruin it a bit, so give it a listen

… and let me know what you think! I’m already getting impatient to see what comes next from Jai Paul.
