I discovered Josh Rousevia his fantastic album “1972” and have followed his world travels – as well as the ups and downs of a couple relationships – through the albums that have followed. Each release has had a unique tone and musical reference point but his confessional songwriting is consistently great. He adds a Latin twist to his latest,” El Turista,” as he explores his experiences living in Spain. This is the perfect album for a beautiful sunny day and seeing the songs live made them even better. Check out an ode to his home, “Valencia”, and hear the whole set here.
