    The music of Swedish band Junip is so nuanced and beautiful and their performance yesterday was easily one of my favorites of the year. There is a lot going on (just check out how many keyboards they have) but it was all played very delicately, with each instrument perfectly layered and occupying its own space.

    Jose Gonzalez’s voice gets right up under my rib cage. It’s so powerful, even though he’s not a belter by any means.

    The band is super tight and in great form, and joined us between two sold out LA shows. Check out the full session online
