Tuesday, August 26th at 7:00 p.m. PT (10:00 p.m. ET) KCRW presents a live video webcast event featuring Interpol.

(Webcast will be viewable here starting at 6:30 pm PT // 9:30 pm ET)

Interpol celebrates the upcoming release of “El Pintor” (September 9th on Matador) — their first album in four years –with this special show for public radio audiences across the country.

The band’s 5th studio album was recorded at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York and is a return to form after a two-year break from touring.

The album finds the band focused, reinvigorated and even with a change of arrangement where lead singer Paul Banks assumes bass duties. They’ll showcase many of the new songs from the record in this full concert and webcast experience.

The performance will begin streaming here at approximately 7:00 p.m. PT (10:00 p.m. ET) on Tuesday, August 26.

*The performance will be recorded for as special Morning Becomes Eclectic session on Friday, August 29th at 11:15 am
