The annual march to…March! When all the big music fans head down to Austin for a week of wild music fun at the SXSW Music Conference. Every year, KCRW spotlights bands we think will be big in the year ahead and I couldn’t be prouder of the group we have booked for our showcases.

If you’re going, please join us. If not, we’ll have plenty of reports from the scene to keep you in the loop on what’s hot down in Texas!

Check out our schedule so far below:

TWO Showcases on Wednesday, March 16

3-6pm – Convention Center (Radio Day Stage)

Brett Dennen * Jessica Lea Mayfield * James Vincent McMorrow

8pm-2am – The Phoenix

Alexander * Naked and Famous * Chapel Club * Belle Brigade * Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr * Tristen

ALSO, KCRW will also broadcast our signature music show Morning Becomes Eclectic live from Austin on Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18, with performances from The Kills and Raphael Saadiq respectively.
