KCRW DJ Jeremy Sole Remixes Natural Self

On August 17, Tru Thoughts records released an EP by UK producer, deejay and vocalist NATURAL SELF called “MY HEART BEATS: Remixes and Versions“. The release is a follow-up to his “My Heart Beats Like a Drum” album, and includes two remixes of by KCRW’s own Jeremy Sole, featuring the beautiful vocals of Elodie Rama. Sole flips the sultry original “Midnight Sun” into a blues-like stomp, with dubby horns and scatting vocals. His second version is the same song without drums, for a more etheric feel. It’s out now on iTunes, Boomkat and all digital outlets.
