Album Preview curator Eric J. Lawrence picks a double fix with the latest from LA buzz band Saint Motel and the sophomore release from thenewno2, a collective led by Dhani Harrison (son of The Beatles’ George Harrison).
Though no spinning heads in this stage version of The Exorcist at the Geffen Playhouse, KCRW’s Anthony Byrnes says it’s still scary thanks to the incredible production design. If you’re a fan of the film, says Anthony, “go with an open mind.”
