    The Low Anthem

I was finally catching up on some reading this weekend, including the June issue of Spin Magazine with Mumford & Sons on the cover. Amanda Petrusich wrote a pretty incredible article called “Meet the New Stars of Americana”, many of which have walked through our doors and played in our studio.

It inspired me to gather the links together in one place for easy listening. These are some of my favorite sessions we’ve hosted over the past few years because, as the article points out, this type of music is earnest and written/performed entirely from the heart. The songs would sound just as good acoustically as plugged in, the true test of any song if you ask those who write them.

If you missed it, check out these sessions in our archives:

    Avett Brothers

    The Civil Wars

    The Low Anthem

    Okkervil River

    Delta Spirit

    RR
