Van Hunt is possibly one of the most creative individuals I have ever met.

A wizard with word play and melodies but, most importantly, Mr. Hunt is set to release his “What Were You Hoping For?” full length in September. From gritty rock to crooning ballads, this record covers all musical ground and keeps you wanting more.

Maybe I’m biased — I once got to be Mr. Van Hunt’s personal driver and roadie a few years back to San Diego. I was amazed at how well he articulates his thoughts through sentences and it’s evident in his lyrics as well.

Van Hunt: What Were You Hoping For

I still think that people slept on his 2009 release “Use in Case of Emergency” and, if you’re one of them, make sure to visit his site and cop that album too! You can also get a free download in exchange for your email!
