Lit Crawl will kick off at 6 in the NoHo Arts District, and organizers promise a rigorous read of hundreds of books and what they call ‘literary mayhem’.

KCRW’s Steve Chiotakis speaks with Carolyn Kellogg, who writes the blog Jacket Copy for the LA Times.

Carolyn’s picks for the night:

Janet Fitch at the Black Clock: Cocktail Hour event at 6:00

Douglas Kearney at the Red Hen Press: Not the Lakers event at 6:00

Grace Krilanovich at the Los Angeles Review of Books: Special Fiction Magazine Preview event at 7:30

Susan Orlean at the Dirty Laundry Lit & The Rumpus: Show Me How! event at 7:30
