KCRW has partnered with local indie label IAMSOUNDon their LA Collection to spotlight local artists you should know. The label is releasing a series of limited edition split 7″ singles and we are sharing some of the tracks, including this Television cover by Local Natives. The band is already beloved by our DJs but this track is something special. Stream “Careful”:

Their cover of “Careful” was initially released earlier this year by one of my favorite local music blogs, Aquarium Drunkard, as part of a local music compilation featuring eight Los Angeles artists paying tribute to Television’s sophomore LP, Adventure. You can read more about it and check out some of the songs here (Foreign Born’s “Days” is another standout).

The other side of this 7″ is a Fool’s Gold track featuring Sizzla, which you can stream here.
