Quirky London quartet Lulu and the Lampshades are fast becoming hot property on the London circuit for their infectious, folk-infused pop, improvised videos and energetic live performances. This off the cuff video inspired by the lead singer’s percussion class just about sums them up

And anyone that can play the drums with yogurt pots instantly has my respect (they can play normal instruments too). After the video going a viral and a signing to leading indie label Moshi Moshi records they are set for big things.

Check out their debut EP “Cold Water“, released by Moshi Moshi Records in February.
