Man vs Markets: Paddy Hirsch breaks down the economy

And just four short years after an economic earthquake that nearly took the global financial system down, we’re still trying to wrap our brains around the mechanisms of the markets.

Paddy Hirsch, a Senior Producer at APM’s Marketplace, a nationally-syndicated business show based here in LA, has tried to simplify what the markets are doing and why. And his new book ‘Man Versus Markets’ is an amalgam of many of the anecdotes he’s told over the years to make the economy seem less daunting.

Hirsch joined KCRW’s Steve Chiotakis from the Marketplace studios.
