The Morning Benders dropped by the station last week to play a set of dreamy, laid back, romantic songs from their latest album “Big Echo.” Singer Chris Chu says they wanted to both pick a title that both describes the sound of the music and the themes they explore within it. Thematically, he says, the songs are about growing up and thinking about how all the memories and experiences you’ve had are “bouncing around in your head” and how they make you who you are.
