Tonight is a great night for FREE live music in LA! Westsiders can go see Kailash Kher for free on the Santa Monica Pier while folks on the other side of town can check out a performance by Natacha Atlas a the Skirball Center at 8pm. Known for her work with Transglobal Underground, Natacha’s ecstatic vocals range from multi-ethnic Arabic-flavored electronica to poignant acoustic ballads for an unforgettable listening experience.

Stream one of Jason’s favorites, “This Realm.”

Her sound has moved in more of an acoustic direction on her recent work, which will be lovely to enjoy under the stars at the Skirball.

KCRW is a media sponsor for Sunset Concerts at the Skirball Cultural Center, which run on Thursday nights until August 26 and also include celebrated Kenyan band Kenge Kenge and salsa ambassadors La Excelencia, among other.

The concerts are free, but seating is limited so get there early!
