Upcoming Live Performances on MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC with host JASON BENTLEY

Monday, November 17, The New Basement Tapes are a supergroup put together by producer T. Bone Burnett to turn long lost Bob Dylan lyrics into new songs. Elvis Costello, Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Marcus Mumford (Mumford & Sons), Rhiannon Giddens (Carolina Chocolate Drops), and Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes) reunited in the Capitol Records studio where they recorded their album for a rare performance which we’ll share on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuesday, November 18, The Brooklyn-based band Real Estate are one of the least Google-able bands but their music just keeps getting better with every album. We get to hear their latest when they join us on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, November 19, Bay area band Waters is fronted by Van Pierszalowski, the man behind the nautically-themed group Port O’Brien. Their songs explode with high energy pop hooks and a compelling lyrical narrative on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Thursday, November 20, TV On The Radio are a quintessential KCRW band and recently performed songs from their latest album “Seed” in front of a live audience at Apogee studios. We’ll share highlights from their set on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Monday, November 24, Rockers The Bronx bring back their alter-ego, Mariachi El Bronx, for a live set recorded at Sonos Studio. They stir up the ethnic flavor of LA in their catchy tunes. Hear it on Morning Becomes Eclectic at11:15am.

Wednesday, November 26, Danish electronic artist Trentemoller brings a cinematic tone to Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
