Fanatic! I hope you are digging your November wherever you are. Temperatures dropped in Los Angeles recently. I celebrated by listening to Nico and Stockhausen. I became interested in Stockhausen watching the “Kraftwerk and The Electronic Revolution” documentary. I only have one record of his, but there’s a lot online to listen to. So far, very interesting stuff.

Some records I have been checking out lately and really liking:

Hierophants, “Parallax Error”

Wolf Eyes, “I Am A Problem”

As you know, Wolf Eyes makes many recordings on the American Tapes label but now and then they go out into the independent record world and release a record that is actually fairly easy to find. I Am A Problem is on Third Man and it’s very good.

Black Pus and Lightning Bolt are all worth checking out. I was thinking about both groups after wondering what Brian Chippendale — who is in both bands — was up to. I checked out their catalogs and saw that I was a few records behind. A couple of long listening sessions later, I can report that all their new records are great.

We have a fantastic show lined up for you. Check below to see what I’m talking about. I will be in Belgium when the show hits the airwaves. I have a couple of days in London after that and will hopefully get to some record stores. We are working away on new shows, putting in lots of new ingredients. I hope you get a chance to check them out.

Rock the jam session and STAY FANATIC!!!
