    From politics and music to faith, science and immigration, what were the most important stories and trends of the year? Nine of our sharpest local observers weigh in on the one thing that shaped 2015.

    Dr. Charles Elahchi, director of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, brings us insight into an important trend in science. He says the search for life beyond Earth is now focused close to home. And from Mars to Saturn’s moon Enceladus and Jupiter’s moon Europa that search focuses on one thing – H2O.
