It’s gonna be another stellar year for this feature on the KCRW Music Blog; we’ve got lot’s of cool premieres and collaborations headed your way. But before those music releases ramp up for 2018 – let’s get to some tracks released late last year that we are still listening to.

World beat, groovesters Buyepongo & Quitapenas have been added to the playlist. As well as collaborations that WOW’d us last year from English language and Musica Indie Artists: Ibeyi feat. Mala Rodriguez, ODESZA feat. The Chamanas, and Arcade Fire feat. Bomba Estéreo.

We’ve also included a couple of rockin’ tunes from Sol Pereyra, Felipe El Hombre, and Fármacos. Lastly, a classic from the now defunct Thee Commons. They have plans to regroup as a project called Tropa Mágica but until then, we’ll mourn the loss of one of the most entertaining live bands ever (in Pan Caliente’s humble opinion).

Make sure you Follow the playlist as this will be updated frequently with new music and releases.
