On March 1st, The Mexican Standoff (comprised of producers, performers, and songwriters from Los Angeles Musica-Indie scene), return with the release of a brand new, socially conscious (yet fun) single entitled, “Muro (The Wall).” Yes, it is a reference to Trump’s proposed huge wall on the US/Mexico Border.

Wherever your politics lie, there’s no denying a fun, clever, on-the-verge-of-parody-jam. So today, we premiere the music video for this brand new song.

“Muro is a narrative of one of eight hundred thousand stories. We support dreamers. We support immigrants, and we support equality. Politics are out of control, and as musicians and story tellers we want to bring some humor and music to today’s issues.”
