Somehow French pop band Phoenix became one of the biggest bands in the world.

(Actually, I know how — a little album called “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix“).

From the band I was playing for my friends to Coachella headliners. It happened fast, and judging by Thomas Mars’ discussion with Jason, they’ve made a great effort to take it all in stride.

The band played much of their new album for us and it was a great way to experience it for the first time. “Entertainment” is just a powerful blast of pop joy. “Trying to Be Cool” and “Chloroform” are also standouts from the new release. Watch here!
