This past Thursday’s lineup at Also I Like to Rock was definitely the loudest show I’ve witnessed at the Hammer Museum — and I loved it.

Hanni El Khatib is a one-man garage rock sensation that you can expect to be hearing a lot more about this year. The Soft Pack had a rabid pack of fans right in front of the stage that were going crazy for every single track, including new songs off their forthcoming release. I had a magical moment watching them play” Mexico” on a gorgeous SoCal summer night with an almost-full moon high in the sky.

It’s a great place to see music and I encourage you to join us THIS Thursday for Grouplove and Milo Greene!
