In honor of Andrew #Breitbart’s passing, please RT ever tweet celebrating his death. He would have wanted it that way.

    — David Burge (@iowahawkblog)

Last time I saw Breitbart was in Troy, Mich. He pulled me off to the side to chat about the 2012 primary. “It must be so boring to cover.”

    — daveweigel (@daveweigel)

Conservative publishing phenomenon, Andrew Breitbart died in Brentwood earlier today. He was 43. Slate’s David Weigel met him five years ago as he was building up his online empire. On today’s “To the Point,” David Weigel explained how Breitbart knew exactly what to feed the media and when to feed them. Listen below:

Warren Olney also spoke with the Daily Caller’s Mickey Kaus, a friend of Breitbart’s. “Unlike what some people say, he did care about the truth,” says Kaus. “He saw the world through this very passionate conservative prism… He did way more good than evil.”
