Jeff BuckleyMorning Becomes Eclectic performed on in 1994, before his artistic success and his heartbreaking, untimely death. That appearance, including an interview with Chris Douridas, has been resurrected and reedited so a high quality audio session is now available on KCRW.com.

I listened to it last night and if you are a fan of his work – OR have never heard him before – it is a MUST listen. It brought tears to my eyes, both because it was so beautiful and because we lost him way too soon.

I learned that KCRW not only played a pivotal role in introducing him to music fans, but in Jeff’s life as well. He tells Chris that listening to KCRW “made his straight jobs a lot more enjoyable.”

Read Chris’ reflections on the session – which almost didn’t happen – and hear classic tracks from the album “Grace” like “Mojo Pin,” “So Real,” “Grace,” and “Lover, You Should Have Come Over.”
