Rodrigo y Gabriela on MBE

Wow. Rodrigo y Gabriela are probably the most fascinating musicians I’ve ever watched – my eyes can’t possibly move as fast as their fingers. These dueling guitarists are so incredible it’s easy to miss the fact that they are playing all instrumental music. The duo really shreds. Rodrigo even played guitar with a candle on one track! Rodrigo y Gabriela cut their teeth in metal bands but focus on their Flamenco-inspired covers for today’s live set. On their newest album, they dedicate each song to a guitarist that has inspired them. For example, standout “Buster Voodoo” is dedicated to none other than Jimi Hendrix. Check it out.
