Santiago Sweepstakes Winner!

Dan Sy, KCRW’s Controller, received this note from a happy Susan. She and her husband won our Santiago, Chile sweepstakes during our Summer 2009 Membership Drive (yes, they were finally able to get away only recently)!

Dear Dan,

Chile was amazing! Many thanks to you and your colleagues at KCRW for helping to make this happen. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful business class flight on LAN and the very comfortable and luxurious accommodations at San Cristobal Towers Hotel.

In the end we spent most of our two week vacation in Patagonia (see picture attached). Stunning countryside, amazing wild life, and wonderful people. However, Santiago and the San Cristobal were a welcome respite after the cold weather, hiking, and simpler life in the Torres del Paine National Park.
