Scavenger Hunt Team: Summerahowell

From the beginning…

This team was on a mission. The picture soon became clear and we were introduced to the people who make up the team Summerahowell, and this is their journey…

To the library!

They started off with giving out a healthy snack and spreading the gift of knowledge by donating books to the free library. What a generous beginning!

From then on this team showed off its humorous side by taking a selfie with a passenger on the Westside Expo Line, playing leapfrog with a passerby, and playing a fun game of red rover..

“Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!”

After adventuring through a good part of the West Side and Mid-City they traveled to The Valley to pick up lunch at Tender Greens and visit the Brady Bunch house!

Get your groove on at Chinatown Summer Nights!

As day turned to night they stopped by Chinatown Summer Nights and got their groove on at the dancefloor.

Onto… Day Two!

Day two of the hunt is on and this team of five stays determined starting off with a stop at Tower Records for some music history in the city of L.A. They took off to Clutter’s park in the South Bay to wave bon voyage to planes leaving LAX and then head to the beach to take a quick peer off the pier.

Clean up time at the Los Angeles River!

As the race is in its last stretch, Summerahowell cleans up the Los Angeles River before they make the trek out to Santa Barbara!

Expresso shots for all!

They visit the Santa Barbara Zoo and Museum of National History checking off the stops one by one. For a quick charge of energy and easy points they hit The French Press for a shot of espresso, yum!

Sweet Reward!

The end of day two is near and the team marks their finish with a celebratory frozen banana in Orange County. The hunt has ended and the members of Summerahowell can reflect on all they have discovered in just two days, activities stretching from Orange County all the way to Santa Barbara! Way to fight till the finish!
