Sea Wolf by Brian Lowe

It’s been a few years since Sea Wolf (aka Alex Brown Church) visited our studios and he used this live session to both revisit our favorites, but play a handful of solid songs off his new album “Old World Romance”, specifically “Priscilla” and “Old Friend”. Turns out, the native Californian fled to Montreal for three years but returned to “face things” he’d let behind and rediscover where he is from.

For me, Sea Wolf’s songs all feel like a warm blanket in a storm. There is something comforting about them, and his voice. Alex has the perfect level of sensitivity – never mushy but always emotional.

And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention his awesome Fall sweater. It was a perfect way to usher in the season (one of our first cold days in months!).

Hear/watch the full session here.
