    To protect the public against the spread of sexually transmitted diseases the City of Los Angeles has passed a new law requiring the use of condoms in adult film productions. But porn producers say on-camera sex with condoms, well, just isn’t sexy and doesn’t sell. In response to L.A’s actions, they’re threatening to either sue the city, or

    pull up the stakes entirely and take their multi-million dollar industry (sometimes called the “Other Hollywood”) across the state line to Nevada. Later this week, KCRW will talk about the high-stakes intersection of porn, politics and public health with the the president of the adult film industry’s leading trade association.
