    Steve Allen

The Politics of Culture pays tribute to Steve Allen, with excerpts from his final interview, conducted on the last day of his life with KCRW/Gracie Films Radio Arts Fellow JON KALISH. In a select series of extended excerpts from that conversation and his interview with Paul Krassner, Kalish has crafted half an hour that gives Allen a chance to vent about his personal views on morality, humor and the state of comedy today. Along the way, Krassner and Allen share their sometimes pointed, sometimes poignant views of one another.
