    Upcoming Live Performances on MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC with host JASON BENTLEY

    Swedish musician Kristian Matsson goes by the moniker The Tallest Man on Earth and sings striking folks songs in a gravelly voice that have led many to compare him to Bob Dylan. A lofty comparison to be sure but tune in to hear for yourself when he returns to Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15.

    Wednesday, September 5, Baltimore’s Animal Collective has always been considered an experimental band but they stretch even their own boundaries with their new release. The band stops by Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am in advance of their appearance at the Hollywood Bowl as part of KCRW’s World Festival.

    UK band Hot Chip bring the party whenever they play live so get ready for a set of danceable pop when they appear on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

    Tuesday, September 11, The Walkmen will bring their explosive live performance to our basement studio when they return with songs from “Heaven” on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

    Wednesday, September 12, East L.A.’s Los Lobos celebrate the 20th anniversary of their recording “Kiko” by performing it in its entirety on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

    Thursday, September 13, One of the most exciting bands of the last few years, The xx, are finally back with new music. Hear a set of hypnotic pop when they play songs from their new recording live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
