You’re looking at that turkey right now, thinking, “What music is going to get me through this Thanksgiving Day?”

And you already know KCRW has your back with this special Thanksgiving edition of Guest DJ Project with Good Food host Evan Kleiman and chefs as the music masters, prepped by master producer Rachel Reynolds.

Tom Schnabel previously cranked out 83 songs for your T-day playlist.

KCRW DJ Valida this year chopped and prepped this French mix, saying:

I typically think of cooking for the holidays as a more continental cuisine fare. At least in my household growing up, French music was a favorite (besides Bosnian) while friends and family congregated in the living room waiting for the food to arrive from the kitchen (my mom and other female members of the extended family would prepare the food… men would typically not spend too much time in the kitchen unless it’s to grab more beer and wine)… My dad is a Francophile and most of these songs remind me of being around my family, at home (except for maybe one or two towards the end of the mix). To me, cooking and French music go hand in hand. Also, it’s a mellow mix – easy listening while you cook to inspire some great meals.

And Thanksgiving promises plenty of food for the soul. But how about some soul for the food? KCRW DJ Marion Hodges has crafted a soul-centric slice of pie, with tracklist below.

1. Chance the Rapper & the Social Experiment “Wonderful Everyday: Arthur”

2. Mark Ronson – “A La Modeliste (Bonobo Remix)”

3. Corinne Bailey Rae – “Put Your Records On (Nehzuil Remix)”
