KCRW DJ Anne Litt hosted a performance by UK band The Boxer Rebellion this weekend that included the live debut of their track “If You Run,” written specifically for the new Drew Barrymore/Justin Long romantic comedy “Going the Distance.” The band play themselves in the movie and it was the first time they played the track off camera. Even better, it’s a gorgeous acoustic version.

You can hear/watch the entire performance in our archives here.

KCRW was the first station in the world to play tracks off of The Boxer Rebellion’s CD “Union” and you can check out an earlier performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic hosted by Jason Bentley last year.
