    Upcoming Live Performances on MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC with host JASON BENTLEY

    Tuesday, June 26, Based in Los Angeles, The Calder Quartet perform a variety of compositions from their vast repertoire, including songs by minimalist composer Philip Glass and the lush work of Beethoven on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am

    Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff joins Morning Becomes Eclectic for an intimate performance at 11:15am.

    Friday June 29, Santigold‘s new album has been at the top of KCRW’s airplay charts for weeks and we finally caught up with the Brooklyn-based singer for a live session. Tune in to Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

    Monday, July 2, Beach House put out one of our favorite records of the year and we can’t wait to hear it live when they join us on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

    Tuesday, July 3, LA’s own Meiko made her U.S. radio debut at KCRW a few years back and promptly took off! The Hotel Café favorite has a way of penning irresistibly catchy songs that make their way into our hearts, as well as many television shows and films. We’ll hear her live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am

    Thursday, July 12, Novalima blend Afro-Peruvian music with Electronica, Latin American beats and other contemporary genres. We’ll hear the modern sound of Peru on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

    Friday, July 13, Indian-British artist Nitin Sawhney is considered a musical pioneer for his mix of south Asian musical influences with electronica and other genres, like jazz, hip hop, and flamenco. Expect a global melting pot on KCRW when he performs for the very first time on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
