This week it begins! And we’re excited to announce a new addition to the line up — the special guests on July 15 have been revealed as none other than The Heavy. Fresh off touring with Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, this aptly named U.K. quartet performs a fiery stew of soul, funk, reggae and blues with a British twist.

KCRW is thrilled to present the Hammer Museum’s free music series this year. It almost always reaches capacity so early arrival is highly recommend. And, even better, card-carrying KCRW members get priority access! That’s right, your membership to KCRW lets you jump into a first-access line, so don’t forget your card.

If you are not yet a member, you can buy a Rock The Summer Pass for just $25 and get a short-term membership to both KCRW and the Hammer, priority access, and you can hang in the VIP Lounge for all four shows. Definitely worth it if you plan on being a regular.

Saint Motel – who always put on an incredible live show –and Kitten kick off the series THIS THURSDAY, July 1.
