The Revival Sessions with The Park + Soul Legend Darondo

Ok, HUGELY excited about tonight’s event. Every month when it’s time for THE REVIVAL SESSIONS I get excited, actually.

It’s a chance to gather a couple hundred folks into a historical Venice speakeasy from the prohibition era, and play all these types of music that I love, but rarely get to play for a shufflin’ dancefloor… all this blues, dirty swing, and soulful juke joint kind of stuff.

Each month my partner Jamie Strong (of Do Over fame) and I deejay, and host a live band.

Hard blues acts like HANNI EL KHATIB, NICK WATERHOUSE, THE STEPKIDS and other artists you’ll soon hear about it you haven’t already. TONIGHT is no exception, as we present THE PARK — who’ve been the official back-up band for Tru Thoughts artists ALICE RUSSELL on her world tours — and other heavyweights including our other special guest, the cult soul legend DARONDO!!
